This week’s notes column
This week, the Philadelphia Inquirer published its list of the 50 greatest Philadelphia movies. Several of my critic colleagues and I participated in the survey, and I wrote some of the capsules.
The original Rocky, perhaps unsurprisingly, came in first, followed by Trading Places, The Sixth Sense, Philadelphia, and Blow Out. The top ten was rounded out by 12 Monkeys, Creed, The Philadelphia Story, Mannequin and The Blob.
