I love this idea, in spite of the day long earworm it immediately inspired, especially here in the high numbers. A few literal "laugh out louds" including this one

This endeavor is both why editors exist and why it's good they don't control the rest of the universe. I commend you for concise and revealing opinions delivered in few words. I presume the top 200+ list will have a more things I wish to see beyond some classical music documentaries that are not available.

BTW Nowadays I read practically zero film criticism besides looking at paragraphs next to Metacritic scores if I'm scoping out movies, but I've read SS Ben Hecht since Craig Calcaterra mentioned it and I'm actually regularly reading film crit again--yours.
